If you ride a motorcycle in Canada, you’re in the right place.

We’re passionate about riding (and we assume you are too, since you found us here). And we take our gear very seriously. Our choice is usually textile jacket and pants with armour, gloves, boots, and a full-face helmet. We know that others might opt for leathers, half-helmets, Kevlar jeans, and many other choices. Gear choices are as individual as riders and bikes themselves.

There’s nothing quite like the look and feel of brand new gear, we get it. But do you always want to pay full-price for new gear? We don’t. So, over the years, we’ve used other classifieds sites, and of course Facebook Marketplace, to find used gear in good condition.

It’s not always easy, is it? And it takes SO MUCH TIME.

In a nutshell, that’s the inspiration for 2nd Gear: One single destination, making it quick and easy to find good used riding gear, in great shape, and at affordable prices.

We want 2nd Gear to be more than that, though. We see this as a hub for the riding community across Canada. The go-to place for anyone and everyone who rides a motorcycle in Canada.

We’ll be posting motorcycle-related events, to make it easy to find stuff happening near you, and to share your event with the community.

And we’ll be sharing ride reviews from riders across the country. Got a favourite stretch of road you want to let others know about? Some fun twisties, amazing views, or stops along the way for food and drink? Want to find some good new roads to ride? This is your spot.
